3-b has been unlocked, although sections of it are still completely inaccessible. but a scroll into that room reveals smaller offices cordoned off-- four of them, and an area entirely blacked out. there are windows to see into the blacked out lab, but even the strongest of light will not be able to cut through the darkness inside that room, nor will the glass break.
the room is very cold but otherwise quite normal, although there is a slight dried blood odor for those with keen senses. there are splatters of old blood (not a lot) and half dissected large worms on some trays. if you choose to investigate on the matter of the blood, you'll find that it's just pig blood.
the computers in this room also hold the biological data on all the people on the ship. heartbeats, body temperature, allergies if you have them. another program that exist only in this lab is the ship's self-repair system, signed underneath by Methaus Nash.
through the day, you may notice what look like ghosts wandering the ship. they get stronger through the day and leave the crew alone, and are tangible even if they seem to pass through doors and walls unhindered. there will be a concentration of them on the upper deck around the hull breeches and down in engineering attempting to get more power up and running. they are blurred as if just out of eyesight, and will not answer or respond to the crew.
furthermore, as 3-b opens, the cold from the lab will slowly seep through the ship, until the temperature drops down to approximately 4-5 celsius. however, thanks to the efforts of the crew, one of the officers rooms has been opened.
