And last I remember Earth was fine, I mean, unless something happened when we were abducted?
[ hesitates before asking] Also, uh, did you say meta-humans? As in, people with special abilities. Cause I recognize that term, but I don't recognize any of those group names.
[He looks unsure, mostly because he's wondering if it's safe to reveal that much. It should be right? Meta-humans and the Justice League are common ( ... )

[He suddenly looks a little embarrassed cause he's talking to this girl in nothing but a hospital gown. SO not cool] Uh, yeah...just wanted to make sure we're using the same terminology here as far as meta-humans is concerned.
[he considers that for a moment] Yeah it could explain why I don't recognize any of those...uhm...unless they're like branches of the Justice League or something. [you can tell he seriously doubts that]

Okay, now I KNOW we have to be from different earths cause the Justice League is known worldwide...unless you live under a rock I guess. [smiles] And you look way too pretty to have lived under a rock. [He hopes she didn't really live under a rock, because then this would get awkward]

So, uh. Tell me more about this Justice League.

[Which falters a little when the Justice League is brought up. Right, he's going to have to decide soon if he should bother hiding his identity or not. He rubs at the back of his neck. He bets Batman doesn't have this problem.]
They're basically a group of superheroes that came together to protect Earth from threats. It's not just metahumans though. There's some aliens and normal humans on the team. Not to say there aren't other superheroes out there but they're basically the major leagues of superheroes.

That really sounds like the Avengers! ...Well, the others too, but I'm most familiar with them. Most are metahumans. I think. I'm not completely up to speed on everything, not like Finesse or Reptil.

Um... Well, sort of. It's...more like a...prevention group. We're there to be trained so we won't...make any mistakes.
