Room 14 is a mess. The belongings from both lockers, not just his, are strewn carelessly all over the floor. He's rummaging through his own clothes now--sifting through his shirts and jeans (why are his Save the Citizen clothes in with the pile?)--and for the life in him he cannot find his father's leather jacket.
After have a nice talk with Maddy, Virgil was in a better mood. He still had a lot of questions and he was sure everyone else on the ship did as well. At least he wasn't alone there. He decided to head back to his room before checking out the rest of the ship.
He didn't expect to find his roommate there trashing everything. Considering how small the room was it wasn't HARD to do that, but still. He stood in the doorway for a moment before raising an eyebrow, "Uh...what are you doing?"
Warren doesn't even bother turning around to greet Virgil. On top of scathing, he is rude. He tosses a bunched up shirt over his shoulder at the doorway.
"Okay, let me rephrase that. What are you looking for that involves trashing MY stuff too?" Virgil catches the shirt...with his face. He pulls it off and then notices the lightning insignia on it. Virgil looks closer at the floor and spies other bits of his costume like his gloves and jacket. "Oh come on! You even went through my backpack? Why would your stuff be in there?"
[He's not even sure what he thinks about this room. He doesn't really care about the closed space. After all, it's just in-game, right? Even if the game got really weird all of a sudden. But then, he'd figure it out when he met up with the rest of Odd Squad.
Still. Roommate. No. He didn't do roommates if only because it was inappropriate for him to room with a boy as much as it was inappropriate for him to room with a girl.]
[Fiddling with a strange, glowing console had eventually directed Remilia to a map, which allowed her to locate where the discovered rooms were. She'd have to remember to find out who made that announcement; maybe even thank them. It hadn't taken long to find her name and corresponding room.]
[The vampire couldn't stop the feeling of impending horror when she saw how small the quarters were. They expected her to sleep here? Her closet back in Gensokyo was bigger than this! It easily over twice the size of this... this cupboard!]
[And then Remilia noticed the occupant of the room.]
[Oh. Right. "Roommate."] ...Prince, is it?
[Never mind that the childish vampire was still in her cryopod gown with curled wings covering her back, and of which now had drying, fresh blood spilled down the front. Remilia had always been a messy eater.]
[Remilia raises an eyebrow at that statement, unable to stop the amused chuckle.]
Even in all my years, that is a first to be heard.
[That... annoucement. It said they'd found their possessions in these rooms. After tossing subtle, cautious glance at Prince, Remilia enters the cramped quarters to inspect the only two features: the bed and the lockers.]
Storm stepped into Room #3 and drew in a shuddering breath, closing her eyes. The cramped feel of this ship had been giving her the creepy-crawlies from the get-go, but this room was the absolute worst. It was tiny and narrow and those cubbies in the walls...were those the beds?
Leaving the door open, Ororo stepped back out into the hall and began pacing, trying to catch her breath.
She was more just... standing in the hallway than anything else, still in the gown that had been provided for her from the cryo-sleep. Changing hadn't been that important to her, after all. She would rather wash first before changing back into her old clothing, and even then, she hadn't been exceptionally fond of that dress anyway. Got caught up in things when she walked. Loose dirt and debris.
"Breeze might help. Not being stuck in a box. But we're all messages of a kind, aren't we? We all have something here for the ship, so it keeps us in boxes."
The cryptic way in which the woman was speaking seemed to alert Ororo, not necessarily alarm her but it sure did make her give a second look. "Are you part of the original crew?" she asked. But the woman was wearing a hospital gown, suggesting she had come from cryo-sleep...
"Yeah, I--I don't know, I'll look for some place else." Ororo already felt she had to be on guard. New place, new co-residents, none of them could be trusted at face value, though Ororo preferred to give them the benefit of the doubt.
"We're roomed together. See?" She pointed to the names by the door, seemingly unaffected by the idea of small spaces. She had been stuck in small spaces plenty of times, especially since her thief liked to place her in small places where she wouldn't be detected. Closets seemed to be a favourite of his. "I woke up in those little pods. It's not where I'm supposed to be, and I'm supposed to be outside of this universe. This is a waystation, though."
She thought of a few of the people on this ship and smile. "A side quest. Distraction. But it's a good distraction. New people. I did want to see the universe."
Her gaze was glacial, and yet it wasn't even fixed on a recipient. She sat on the floor, or crouched to be technical, fingers toying at a necklace dangling from her throat.
This room, this...house? was she in a house? (the word spaceship was not in her vocabulary)--looked like nothing she had ever seen before. The year was 1933 back where she came from; telephones were still rotary-dial and hooked into the walls, cinemas didn't have colour, and most houses were still in the midst of transitioning from the icebox to the refrigerator. The idea of diving into space? Computers and blackholes and automatic doors? They absolutely eluded her, to say the least. So this was some sort of delusion, or it had to be. As much as Rosalie (thought she) hated Carlisle Cullen, she did not think this was a joke of his, for he didn't seem like a joking type. So where was she, exactly, and how had she arrived here, awakening from that frigid green pod
( ... )
Maddy had already been to her room once; obviously, she'd gotten her stuff, made her call from there...
So see, she'd noticed there had been another name on the door, really she had. She just didn't exactly digest the fact that she had a roommate. Nor that she'd have to meet her roommate. Honestly, she'd completely forgot about getting food because of the chat she had with Virgil. Though she was in a strange place and had so many worries from back home, she at least had one friend here.
Down the hall she walked-- and Rosalie would probably hear her before she even turned the corner into the room-- and right into the room--
The other girl, a redhead, was wearing the strangest clothes, wholly unrecognisable. Rosalie didn't trust her by looks, but then, Rosalie was getting into the fallacious habit of distrusting everyone upon first impression.
After regaining some of his strength and managing to wander the halls once more, Roxas had found the hallways leading to the crew cabins. Of course, it took him a bit of time to figure out what they were since he was still largely unaware of what was on a spaceship such as this one. The closest reference he had was a gummi ship, and well, that only went so far.
However, in his wanderings, he found a room with his name on it, and the door opened for him. He glanced in to see that it was a small space with some lockers and didn't look like a trap. That didn't stop him from feeling a bit wary about the whole thing, all things considered. How had it known his name?
Still, he saw no reason not to go in, and was soon rummaging around in the lockers, looking for a better source of clothing.
Roxas had managed to find clothing, his clothing in fact, stored in one of the lockers. That fact weirded him out considerably and he was staring at his clothes in a rather confused manner, so he didn't notice Tarvos at first.
"Huh?" He looked up when he heard the voice. "Uh...Hi."
Alright, so this was his first in-person communication with a human. Big step here, and Tav knew he had to make a good impression. Especially if they were supposed to be sharing this tiny respiteblock, as the nameplates implied.
Of course, what he actually did was continue to grin and awkwardly respond, "Uhh, heyyy...."
That didn't quite seem sufficient, so after a moment he added, "I'm Tavros. And, umm, my name is next to the respiteblock's door, too."

Oh, good!
[Well, it was good that he had a roommate, but he was just going to assume that she was the 'Remilia' that he had read on the nameplate.
It was better than some kid trying to convince him it was still the 21st century, after all.]
"At least you're normal."

"It's. Um, it's a uniform. It's all I have to wear."
This was not a good start.
