I extended my holiday because of some throat issues yesterday...hence no program :) But I was able to talk today and in the first hour I discuss a variety of WalMart, Black Friday strikers stories including one that talks about WalMart insuring they make a maximum profit before the Bush-era tax cuts expire on 12/31/12. Also one death, allegedly by accidental murder at a Georgia WalMart plus a plan to help workers...Chinese style!
Yep they want to build worker dorms with "12 to a room". Also a horrific fire in a Bangladesh factory that makes clothes for WalMart and the response on FOX NEWS.
Whistleblower Bradley manning will be testifying and speaking on his own behalf this week...a story I will keep an eye on plus the severe beating and attempted murder, in my opinion, of a 23-year-old lesbian in Alabama who was at her partner's family's house for Thanksgiving. The culprit..her lover's 18-year-old brother.
