"This whole house is made of wax, everything."
I know I haven't been updating this much recently, but this event in my life is definately worthy of a long overdue update.
This past saturday I went to see House of Wax at the Tribeca Film Festival. I went with Kelly B. and my dad. The movie didn't start untill 12 midnight so we didn't get there untill 10. When we did get there there were around 25 people sitting outside the building, camped out with chairs and all that. My dad went up to ask them if they were on line. They said "No we're the press". I definately got a little excited about that.
My dad waited on line so Kelly and I could go walk around and get some food. Well, it was raining, pretty hard actually, so that made our walk a little more miserable then it should have been. We walked down W. Broadway about 5 blocks before we actually found somewhere to eat. Everything was closed down because of the Festival. We wound up eating at a Blimpie. It wasn't bad though. There was this really really super rich guy with his assisstant, he started talking to us. He was like "you girls aren't from ny are you? You must be from Wisconsin or something." haha it was funny.
The walk back was a lot quicker and drier than the walk there. When we got back we scooted past this crowd of people and screaming girls up to my dad. The guy standing in front of us goes..."you just missed Chad Michael whatever." I flipped out. I was so upset, but at the same time so excited because OMG CMM was there! The next half hour we were waiting in line we saw Paris Hilton, Elisha Cuthbert, and Jared Padelecki. Oh man I was so excited.
When we finally got in it was around 12:10. The director of the movie came out on the stage and introduced the cast. All of them came out on stage. CMM is so damn hot. I honestly can't stand it. I was ready to pass out. I couldn't believe that he was standing there, right in front of me. Ahh.
The movie started. Each time one of the actors would come on screen for the first time the audience would cheer. In one part of the movie CMM takes his shirt off and everyone started wooing and hooing. It was too funny. The whole movie was really really good, but completely discusting. Omg the gore in this movie, I couldn't take it I had to close my eyes for half of it.
Paris Hilton dies. ((Sorry if I ruined it for anyone)). When she did, everyone in the theater started cheering and clapping and laughing. I started craking up. I almost felt bad for her, because she was right there, in the theater, listening to all of this.
At the end of the movie we walked out. I was so dazed and exausted, considering it was around 2:30 in the morning. We got movie posters outside, we were one of the only ones to get them. Then once again all the actors((except Cmm)) walked out, right passed me. Like I literally could have touched them if I stuck my hand out. It was amazing.
All in all the night was incredible. I almost wish the movie wasn't a horror movie but a romantic comedy or something. The cast was so damn hott, all of them, and it's just sad that they died and were gored up and stuff. Oh well. It's not like I'm going to see this movie again.. haha.
