Yeah yeah yeah, don't get angry. "Larsen" is being edited by
star_dancer54, who will most assuredly not be gentle :C...so, it will be a while yet on that one.
But I do have some lyrics, and or poetry I've been meaning to post for some time.
This first one is about my dad, whose passing was rather sudden and recent. So sudden in fact that it seems no one noticed but me most of the time.
Truths of life:
Fighting back tears
I mention your name
Just over a year
and it hurts the same
Everyones moved on
so damned rapidly
Its like they can't now
and never could see
You may be gone
but never forgotten
You lit the way
for those who sought him
A guiding hand
wealth of knowledge
never was one
with empty pockets
You gave of you
as your blood ran swift
To me and one other
a most precious gift
The Honor of lineage
our badge to wear
Sons united
by a father's care
But as you left
You took with you
most of the things
I had believed true
Now We seek
to forge our own
Truths of life
to show we've grown
Actually, thats a bit to somber to follow with a song, so I'm going to leave as is for now.
