Chipmunks, Clothes and (Fortune) Cookies
About eight and a half hours to go!
Since Saturday morning, I've been oddly emotional at various times, and I'm not sure why. I've checked in with almost everyone, and everyone is fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe I'm PMSing. :p
Thankfully no more chipmunks entered the house last night. However, a human chipmunk named Georgia got in bed with me last night just as I was falling asleep. I kept her there until she fell asleep again, and then put her back in her bed. A few hours later she was back so I let her stay there the rest of the night. Her mom says she's going through a phase where she needs to know someone is there, so there must be some slight abandonment things going on. The only downside to having her in the bed with me was little fists punching me and little feet kicking me all night long. :)
It's kind of foggy and cool today, so this might be a stay inside day. Maybe will try and venture to the park after lunch if the sun decides to come out.
Doing laundry so late tonight is going to suck. Thankfully my wonderful friend R said I could call him when I got home and possibly go there to do wash. I'm so stupid for having left my clothes at home, grrr...
This is just another sign that I have to start saving up for a washer and dryer.
Speaking of signs, for the first time in a long time I got an appropriate fortune in a fortune cookie. Mine said, "Friends long absent are coming back to you." Which is absolutely true, since I'm in the process of rekindling my friendship with Kelly.
Now if I could only get one about winning the lottery. :)
