Awhile back I posted
this entry in relation to an odd-sounding sentence in a story about a home invasion against Green Bay Packer Noah Herron.
Well, those at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel who write about Noah Herron are back with the same hideous crime of grammar, but this time a different writer was the culprit.
In a
follow-up article about the home invasion, the reporter set up the sequence of events on the night of the home invasion with the following sentence:
Eager to come back from a knee injury that sidelined him all of 2007, Herron had settled in for the night on May 30 at the conclusion of a team practice in his tri-level condominium in Howard.
His condo must be HUGE to fit all those Green Bay Packers into it, much less for a practice!
