Yay to me!!!

Ahhh!!! the weekend is here. NO MORE BOSS TILL MONDAY. For a second there I honestly thought I wouldn't make it. You see my boss is going through a (sort-of) mid-life crisis, and if that's not that it he's on his fucking PERIOD!!!. This has been going on since last Friday, when he gave me the task to produce several 3d images of a few kitchen layouts we were proposing to a client with whom we have a current ongoing project. He doesn't know how to do them himself so he gave the task to me, though I'm not an expert I defend myself pretty well. *Sigh*. Now I know he's a control freak, and I accept to a certain degree many of us design professionals are :), but if your going to delegate your job  let the person finish the design before criticizing, hovering, and just being fucking annoying. WHAT A BITCH!!! THEN WHY DELEGATE??? "What are you doing","that's not what i want", "do this...no do that" etc, etc. (It was reaching the point where I thought I needed to ask for permission to think *sigh*. In all the time I have worked in that office, I haven't had the urge to tell my boss to fuck off as I did this week *rolling eyes*.

Peace finally came today, only because the big meeting with the client, and his wife was this afternoon. She loved (MY) images, and loved many of (MY) ideas, and enjoyed (MY) presentation after my boss bitched and moaned about everything...To add insult to injury, she gawked at several of his ideas HEHEHE.  At the end WE GOT THE CONTRACT!!! 6 (high-end) Kitchens and 12 (high -end) bathrooms :), amongst other furniture that may be required. It's over $60,000 just in custom built furniture** I FEEL VINDICATED TODAY... YAY TO ME!!!

PS...I  just bought WOW I don't know if that is good or bad lol.
** Our office  has a wood-shop where we custom build furniture for the projects we design.
