Day 3 of being back on the CSIRO eating plan and it's all going well so far. It's pretty easy, other than having to be organised and have lots of vegies and stuff in the house. I bought some more of those bags that keep your vegetables fresh for longer, cuz they worked well when I was on it last year and meant that I didn't have to go to the supermarket more than once a week to stock up.
I even managed to psych myself up and go for a bike ride this morning and I really enjoyed it. I saw a sign on the trail that said it was 19kms to the city from my house.. so I'm not sure I'll be riding to work anytime soon. I might leave that until I'm living further in again!
I finished the couch to 5k running plan earlier in the week, so hopefully I'll be able to keep up the running. My brother is also doing the program, so we're hoping to try and enter fun runs or something down the track.
I went to an auction today of a place I was interested in, but my dad told me not to bother with it because it was too small. It ended up getting passed in at auction, which has been pretty rare recently! I'm not sure if the rain was keeping people away, but there were only about 10 people at the auction. There was only one bid and that was for $280,000, which was under the reserve.
The agents kept hassling me about bidding because, as I overheard them saying later on, I was their "key buyer". Heh, I dunno what is wrong with me, but I kinda feel sorry for them and the people selling their place cuz I kinda screwed them over a bit. Oh well, I do know they're blood sucking real estate agents and it's really not my problem, I just gotta turn off my empathy chip!
What else, not much. Went to drinks with one of my cousins and her boyfriend last night, they now live in QLD and have come down to go to that massive wedding that's on today at Crown.. I can't think who the people are that are getting married but apparently Kylie Minogue might be there! My cousin's boyfriend does web stuff and the guy getting married is one of his clients. Crazy invite to get. My cousin was slightly worried that they'd look like they didn't fit in, cuz they're really not those kinda people. They're on my mum's side of the family, which is the nice, sane side. My dad's side would fit in far better there, they're all about the image darling!
Anyway I was supposed to be doing Spanish homework and I've now successfully procrastinated for half an hour.
