internship.
so i start my internship here: http://www.coalitiononchildabuse.org/ on september 12. needless to say, it is a heavy "subject" and i am a bit nervous about the situations i will encounter. there will be instances where i will act as an advocate for a child during forensic medical examinations, for example, which entails being present for said exam.
also, i have to work 10am-9pm on mondays, which is one of matt's two days off. :(
but, there are many positives to the placement. i think there will be a steep learning curve, which motivates me and the center is located very close to my apt. we travel a bit for the "launch program", but locally. i am SUPPOSED to travel to center moriches (like, an hour and a half one way) on thursdays, but i think i will try to arrange something different as i have a hard time being in cars for that long. hehe. no, really. :/
ok, ima go watch matt play civ3 and drink sleepy time tea.
