Biography: Born to a middle class family, Daehyun was the younger of two sons. Unlike his brother, Daehyun was never pressured into doing things he didn't want to. His parents were more focused on his brother, who did really well in school and succeeded in anything he tried. Daehyun never had to worry about his school grades or getting set up on blind dates by his mother. Throughout his childhood Daehyun was often pushed aside by his parents and he never really cared. He had the one thing his brother didn't and that was freedom. Daehyun could do whatever he wanted. During his middle school years, Daehyun was more worried about being cool than his school grades. He would often ditch school to go hang out with his friends. From hanging out with his friends Daehyun had gotten into a lot of trouble with his parents. He had gotten an attitude and thought that nothing bad could ever happen to him. His high school years, weren't the best either. He continued to skip school and even got involved with the wrong crowd. He started to smoke and drink heavily. His grades continued to slip and it wasn't until his homeroom teacher told him to think about dropping out, that he finally got his act together. He started to crack down on his work and attend school more than he usually did. He quit smoking and drinking, with much difficulty. In his senior year of high school, he joined his school's boxing team. Boxing took his mind off of cigarettes and alcohol. He had a knack for boxing and he really enjoyed it. After working hard Daehyun had successfully raised his grades and graduated high school with a "B" average. Now college wasn't something Daehyun had in mind. He always thought that he wouldn't go to college because his grades were so horrible that no college would accept him. After his homeroom teacher encouraged him to apply to some colleges, he applied to Yonsei. After being accepted, Daehyun had some thoughts about joining a fraternity. He decided upon the BCT frat. At first it wasn't the perfect fit for him but after getting to know everyone else in the frat, he came to realize that it was the best fit for him.
Personality: Jung Daehyun is the epitome of the typical Busan man. When he's over excited or over worked he tends to speak with a very heavy Busan dialect. When he speaks he has the habit of sounding rude. Daehyun is very witty and very straightforward. He is not afraid to tell people how it is. It's more like he has a hard time biting his tongue. When something is funny, he is very quick to smile or laugh. Although he is quick with his wit, he is very slow to lose his temper. He tends to be shy around meeting new people. Because he doesn't talk much around new people, he has the image of being tough. He was one of Busan's best boxers and was known as the Busan Fighter. If he is uncomfortable around someone he has the tendency to ramble. If he isn't busy with something he can be seen wondering around aimlessly. Daehyun also tends to be awkward around other guys and he doesn't know how to take compliments.
