Preparatory Sulk (Please Ignore)
Tomorrow is going to suck.
I got out of going to the funeral since I have school and someone needs to look after the cats. But still, funeral days are never good days and I have about twenty-four hours worth of stuff to do and only around eighteen hours in the day to do them.
I may suck at math, but this does not sound promising.
I also seem to have lost the knack for a certain character's voice about halfway through the story. It all sounds choppy. Maybe I'm too tired to write.
Speaking of writing. I've got a paper about Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales to write, so I waded through 260 pages of them today. I made two pages of notes, marking the relevant places in the text. I also made half a page worth of notes for story ideas. Why, oh why, do fairy tales tempt me so? Also, did you know that the little Mermaid didn't just go non-fishy for her handsome prince, but because she was told that only humans have immortal souls and she wanted one?
Seriously? Way to turn old lore into Christian propaganda.
Also, did anyone read the one where the girl takes her dead lover's head and puts it in a flower pot?
