How Glee Saved my Life
Old adage of the wise fanfiction author: When the bunnies grow teeth, go back to what you know.
After a two hour long car ride with my sister, talking about little else but Glee, I decided to hell with all the confusing story lines, let's get some writing for the Glee Prompt Table done.
So once I was back home, I went and reworked the dead end on the vampire!Au fic until it wasn't a dead end anymore. And then I went and looked for the hand written notes I made for the story. Guess where I found them?
Folded into a little origami boat, hidden under my desk. Those must have been some really awesome drugs because I don't remember taking them but I must have because, seriously? I store things in weird places but that's too much even for me. Origami boats? Seriously?
Anyway. After that, I found a snippet for a fic that I don't remember having written. And it was hella cute, too. And funny. And I'm kind of in awe of myself right now because I think that snippet is great and I absolutely, totally do not remember when/why/what I wrote it for. Again with the drugs.
Right.
I guess the point of this is me asking if anyone's got a favorite season one glee fic. I'd love some fic to get into the swing of writing and I haven't seen anything of season two yet, due to computer malfunctions and the like. *bats eyelashes* Please?!
