Honey, I'm home!
I got the second of three teaching evaluations done last Friday, worked myself out of all the work that piled up and am now a free agent.
I have an awesome idea for a kickass English lesson that will blow my kids' socks off and I've finally gotten around to playing with the pics I took on my new camera and I figured out that posting pics on tumblr is real easy.

It's going to be hot as hell tomorrow and a colleague just made me promise to record a story for her because she has that same evaluation on Monday and needs a listening exercise for her class and I'm not a native speaker, but apparently better than what she's got in reading English and I'm basically happy with the universe right now. Free time, good weather, good pictures, feeling needed. Yup, I'm outta my hole.
Also, writing a novella about a girl in a world where dead people become echoes that follow the living around. It's kind of creepy and the metaphor is shallow enough to drive a car through, but. Things.
What story have I been neglecting worst lately? I kind of feel up to anything right now.
