The leasing agent revokes my application for the house in Sterling that I want simply because she found a "felony charge" on my credit report.
I tell her I've never been charged with a felony in my life!
She sends me a copy of the report, noting she made a mistake in misreading the report because the reporting agency matches criminal and credit histories apparently by name, not by SSN/DOB. Another "Phillip Powell" out there, different SSN, different DOB, has a felony charge, so that (along with bad credit - VERY LONG story!) nixed it.
