I try to avoid making posts that deal with politics. But, I can't keep my mouth shut any longer.
Tonight, I listened to celebrities sit and talk shit about President Bush.
1. Natalie Portman wants President Bush out of office, because he is so "in-humane". 2. Martin Sheen says that the war in Iraq is a waste of billions of dollars.
3. Bruce Springstein says that the war in Iraq is about nothing but oil, and that President Bush is killing innocent people.
4. Ashton Kutcher said that he would do anything it took to get bush out of office and help keep him out.
Does Natalie Portman even know what HUMANE means? Does she think that 9/11 was humane? Does she think that Sudam Hussein is humane? Does she think that the decapitation of innocent people on Iraqi tv is humane? If Suddam invaded America does she think he would of been humane to us? To women and children? Maybe I should get the un-educated twit a dictionary and mail it to her.
Martin Sheen really makes me laugh. He complains about how much money the war is costing us, then he goes back to his multimillion dollar home, sits in his home theatre, while his maid cleans his house, his personal chef cooks him dinner, and he drinks fine wine our of his gold wine glasses. No celebrity has the right to say ANYTHING about how much money anything costs the United States.
Bruce Springstien makes me laugh, also. I think it's hilarious how he says the war is about nothing but oil, in order to make gas prices higher. As if he should complain, it's not like he can't afford the gas, no matter what the price. We're killing innocent people in Iraq? Okay..they've never killed any of our innocent soldiers? Again..what about the innocent bystanders that they decapitated on Iraqi television?
Ashton Kutcher said he'd do ANYTHING to get Bush out of office. Well...I hope that doesn't mean he would assasinate him. I'm beginning to think that the PUNKER is officially nothing but a PUNK.
In my own personal opinion...all the AMERICANS that have problems with this war and think it's so "in-humane", I think they should take a trip to Iraq and sit in the town square, then...we'll see how HUMANE the Iraqi people are!!! American soldiers don't have to be in-humane! Iraqi's torture their OWN people!
If I have to hear one more time that all we're doing in Iraq is killing innocent women and children, I'm gonna scream!!! Hundreds of soldiers have died!! Some of them were women...and all of them are the CHILD of someone! Therefore, they're OUR women and children.
Last week..I stood beside the mother of one of my best friends, whom I grew up with. She stood over her son's casket as the military folded the flag that was ontop of his casket. He was in a car bombing in the market place of Baghdad and he was the only American soldier killed that day. That woman stood above her son's casket, with tears running down her face, and said goodbye to him...because the Iraqi people took her BABY from her. They killed her innocent child. But wait..that's right, I forgot..the Iraqi people wouldn't do such a thing. After all..Americans are the "in-humane" people.
All President Bush has done is try to keep us safe. In order to do that, he has to keep the threat level down. Iraq was a threat and it's being taken care of. Anyone can say that Bin Laden should have been caught first....but, think about it. Bin Laden is going to eventually get careless and think that we forgot about him...and BOOM we're gonna catch his ass.
