What we have here is failure to... aww shuck it, just plain failure.

Yesterday, when I left home for work, I almost forgot my keys, remembering them when I was in-between the two exterior doors (the inside one being locked), so I called azrhey with my cellphone to have her bring me my keys. That was the first time in something like 10 years that I had forgotten my keys.

This morning, I resolved to leave early and walk/bus to the train station and take some Advil with me (I biked in the rain yesterday, and now I have a cold, well done!).

Well, I left late (biked in a hurry to the train, did get it in time, though!), forgot to take the Advil and forgot my keys again. This time, I realized only when I arrived to work and went looking for my keys to lock my bike (after peeling some skin off my thumb taking the U-lock off its holder), so I had to bring the bike in the office.

I feel pretty stupid, that's for sure.

There's an election for something or other at work today. It's pretty hilarious, it's all done so formally and seriously, where me, the last time I remember voting for a non-government thing, I think I was in high school or something... We're not unionized here, but even when a company isn't, there's still a worker representative and stuff. You don't mess with the working class in France, no siree!

biking, sick, work, psyche
