Look, let me go back in there and face the danger.

Over the weekend, two things were mentioned, and of course, left to rot in my brain for a few days. One, my favourite person there was mentioning that she had been called "dangerous", because of a certain set of attribute she possess. Two, we talked about Monty Python's Holy Grail.

In the metro today, these elements formented into a replay of the "saving" of Galahad by Lancelot from Castle Anthrax, but with "peril" replaced with "danger". This, of course, had me straining not to burst out laughing, and got me the few odd glances from fellow public transport users. Here's a choice extract, revised to suit the situation (maybe it could be acted out, with me as Galahad, and maybe, hmm, sfllaw as Lancelot? LOL!):

- We were in the nick of time. You were in great danger. (Lancelot)
- I don't think I was. (Galahad the Chaste)
- Yes, you were. You were in terrible danger.
- Look, let me go back in there and face the danger.
- No, it's too dangerous.
- Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much danger as I can.
- No, we've got to find the Holy Grail. Come on!
- Oh, let me have just a little bit of danger?
- No. It's unhealthy.
- I bet you're gay.
- No, I'm not.
