This morning, my body-fat dropped below 16% for the first time (when we first got the exciting techie scales, it was
21%). We celebrated with an egg-white and spinach omelette for brunch - not too bad, but less than ideal from a diet perspective, since we only had egg whites lying around as a result of making
crèmes brulées over the weekend :-)
[Which in turn was because of our discovery of the existence of
miniature blowtorches powered by cigarette lighters, and our immediate purchase of same. Truly, we live in an age of wonders.]
I've had a couple of flirtations with low-fat X or diet Y, but in general, I've found it's preferable to get stuff that actually tastes of something and eat less of it, and fill up on stuff that inherently has few calories (vegetables, mainly). YMMV, of course. I'm down to just over ten and a half stone, but I've been there for a while, what with
wormwood_pearl's birthday, friends visiting and so on - my weight graph for the last couple of weeks has been a series of sharp upward spikes, followed by several days' linear decline.
