As she puts it "I am extremely aware of the fact that almost all images shown to us in the media are *fake*. FAAAAAKE. Dear gods and monsters, fake. If you don't know or believe that, now would be a good time to start."

By the way, does anyone know how YouTube works? Do they just have a vast network of fileservers buried beneath the Mojave desert, or is there something cleverer going on?

In other news, I think the first-year student who was coming to see me at three is now definitely not coming. I'd better do some work or something, then...
