Parishoners, if you are not watching the lovely eagle_exchange you really should, there's some absolutely incredible fic being posted daily! Various genres, various kinks but all of our favourites, I assure you.

I apologize (once again, jeez, had I not been British I'd be sick of saying I'm sorry by now) for the lateness but I've been so horribly busy with essays and uni work, I've had very little online time available and when I do get it, it's usually so I can read a fic with one eye whilst the other looks at some dire academic paper. To all those I owe a PM to, I shall respond as soon as I can and the Reverend loves you long time, don't you worry!

Esca/Marcus - modern AU, confusion about a BJ
After a hard night of partying Esca wakes up with a terrible hangover. Luckily his friend Marcus is there to take care of him, give him some painkillers and water, and generally be his awesome caring (if a bit sulking) self.

Once Esca begins to piece together the memories of the last night, he starts to remember an incredible BJ he got, but can't the love of god come up with the face of the person who did it.

He tells Marcus all about it, but he claims not to know who it was...

Up to the author if Marcus finally admits to being that person, or if Esca remembers it itself (or maybe Placidus or Liathan spill the beans) :)

The guys are roommates (in a dorm or a flat or whatever you can come up with). One of them is a were, the other a vamp (a Being Human kind of arrangement maybe? just less angsty and more cracky, I suppose... or not). One of them has a secret crush on the other.
Any configuration of the above is fine with me. Hipster vamp!Esca perving after an animalistic jock!Marcus? Sure! Silent and serious vampire!Marcus pining after a fierce were!Esca? Why not! :)

Where are all the Five Times Plus One fics?! I suppose I'll do the honors:

So I feel like the movie was trying to establish (and kinda didn't do it well) that they'd been tentative friends before the journey to find the Eagle. The hunting scene was nice (how did they know how to work together so well?) and the scene shortly thereafter where Esca is cutting the boar up is significant b/c oh, look, he's not killing Marcus to get away. Also, how else would Marcus have known that Esca spoke the language if he wasn't prying and being nosy about Esca's past? AND when Greun (sorry, spelling fail) jumps them, they fought so well as a team, it was awesome, how did they work their team up out???? SO MANY POSSIBILITIES.

Basically I'd like some Day in the Life Snippets of Marcus and Esca's burgeoning Epic BONERIFIC Friendship. Domestic/Getting to Know fic but in the early stages (five times?) - and maybe the last one in the Happy Gay Farmer stage :D

Esca/Marcus Ah! My Goddess fusion
Marcus is just a normal dude, with a normal life, albiet one that is unlucky in love. He goes to work, plays with his giant dog Cub, calls his uncle, but he's alone. And lonely.
Esca is a god(dess), first class, unlimited. He was one of Yggdrasil's top programmers (re:magician), but now he works for the God(dess) technical help line, where he grants wishes to those that call.
One night, Marcus is drinking, bored and lonely, and while watching infomercials, decides to order something. However he dials wrong and gets Esca. Who immediately plops out of a mirror and offers Marcus one wish.
And Esca is just stunning, with his hair, face, voice that is just Marcus's type. But he's drunk, and Esca is way out of his league, and it's all a joke by that douche Placidus, right? So when he wishes for a beautiful god(dess) like Esca to stay with him always, he doesn't expect it to be granted.
Problem is, neither did Esca.

OH ALL YE FAITHFUL, this week it was up to my wonderful accomplice Reverend ladytiferet to choose two promps of the canon variety and for me to choose two AUs. We cannot help but hope that there is something for everyone in this week's Service and that donation will tumble, aplenty, upon the altar steps.

Prompt 1

Esca/Marcus - canon or AU, sex as punishment, dub-con
Esca uses rough sex as punishment, especially when Marcus gets into dangerous situations/doesn't take care of himself.

It can be canon, established relationship, or an AU. It can even be a situation where Esca just has some kind of authority over Marcus and executes it this way. I just want slightly cruel but passionate Esca and Marcus ashamed he loves it.

Esca/Marcus - canon or AU, Marcus reminds Esca who he belongs to
Esca is a flirt, he loves attention and adoration. He doesn't follow through, but he likes to tease.
When he and Marcus come back home Marcus feels like he has to remind him who he belongs to.

How about a story about an adrenaline junkie!Marcus and Esca who is either his complete opposite (as in catholic/military school opposite) or a guy who always competes with him?

UHMMM YEAH. CAUSE WITH ALL THAT ADRENALINE PUMPING THROUGH YOUR VEINS....IT'S REALLY BOUND TO HAPPEN.

Esca/Marcus, military/spy (possible s-f) AU
Marcus is a high level military officer (of the current reigning Empire) who got assigned a new assistant, Esca. Esca is modest, silent, reliable, takes his duties very seriously and, as it turns out, has brilliant tactical insight. After a couple of months of them working together Marcus has to transport some extremely sensitive documents from one place (planet) to the other. In the middle of nowhere Esca turns on Marcus, fights him (or drugs him), and takes both Marcus and the documents god knows where.
As it turns out, Esca is one of the most excellent warriors/spies of the rebel forces.
Setting can be s-f, but it doesn't have to be, the plot will work in every historical context :)
Uber!BAMF!Esca would please me greatly :)
