This will allow to show the sex practices of all the people and social classes, e.g. Thracians, Gauls, Germanic tribes, handsome Greek boys, stern Roman noblemen (and insatiable matrons), etc., etc. Now that Esca is not only a desirable man, but also free, he has no reason to not be generous with his charms, as per Celtic custom? And he's very friendly, especially with those who are not actually Romans.

and then, chantefable had this divinely inspired suggestion that we can make it all into:
"So you will be making manips, Esca/random inhabitant of the empire (gladiators from Hollywood movies and random semi-naked Gauls, etc.) and people will be writing fic to accompany it, and other people will be making fanmixes of ancient march songs and artistic moaning? It will be a multimedia project this way.

progressive it no doubt is, therefore this is the discussion post for all parties interested in participating. I was thinking of creating a comm for it, something like hd_cockbook (as chatefable suggested) or what the shoeboxproject used to be back in its day,
we can choose different provinces, do research together and just fruitfully co-operate.
I think timelines, kinks and whether or the choice of including Marcus in that extravagant, debauched porn-a-thon are ought to be left to individual authors, since this is a free for all SLUTFEST OF THE CENTURY.
