We're home

Ok. So...

First things first:

Name: David Michael
Weight: 10 lbs, 13 oz.
Length: 22 inches
Born: March 19th, 2005 2:19 PM

10 toes and fingers and otherwise healthy. All vitals came out well. Only hiccups were his first hearing test, he failed one ear, but passed the second time and a relatively low blood suger due to his weight which had to be watched but after 24 hours was stable.

Susan is recovering well. Better than after Sara, so that is definitely a good thing. She is tired and sore as expected, but overall doing very well.

I think she is getting ready to nap and so is David. This sounds highly appealing to me as well. We need to get it in while we can. Too bad our bodies don't allow us to "stock up" on sleep.

Yes, yes, I know you all want pictures, and they will come soon. We can see him by just looking over, and we are a touch tired, so bear with us.

Thanks everyone for coming out the other night, it was great to see everyone and have a nice social chat with someone other than the nurses. 2 of them were great and really nice and fun. The others ranged from moderately friendly to unhelpful and annoying so, we kinda had the whole gambit. At least there was variety last time. The prior hospital trip for Sara was uniform in that they were all boring, stodgy, preachy and annoying, with only 1 exception that I recall.

So anyway, the pregnancy is over, Susan is recovering from that and the birth and we will try and be sorta social and friendly in the weeks to come.
