Kafka in the Chron, LOH at the Alamo South tonight!
The Austin Chronicle published a very nice article with a saucy pic of LOH star Heather Kafka today, in support of tonight's screening and next week's run at the Ritz. Weirdly enough, the Austin Chronicle helped convince me to cast Heather back when we trying find "Diana." After her first audition, I was pretty much 85% sure I wanted to cast her, so I naturally googled her and came across some great rants she wrote in the Letters to the Editor for the Chron - like this one against Time Warner. Anyone with that much sass was gonna be a lot of fun to work with.
Gonna be in NYC for about 5 days, for BAM and Rooftop. Really looking forward to that experience. Just wish I could be in San Francisco for the opening, there, too. Did a short interview with an SF paper yesterday.
Unfortunately, I'm gonna miss the Make Watch Love Film party on the 18th. I missed the last one, for the grand re-opening of the Studios last January, since I was in Utah shooting the movie.
The AFS screening is tonight. Should be a lot of fun!
