Haven't posted anything since graduation day, I see. What have I been up to lately? Let's have a rundown.

- Celebrated 5 months together with my sweetling (lol Game of Thrones reference)~ she gave me the Todo Combo album <3 Thanks, hon!~

- Passed the copy editor three-pronged exam at MBS Tek. This was the day of the interview for the position, a day after I went for a supposed interview for an internship. Since I can't live with a mere hundred a day (come on!), I was so delighted they had an opening for something full-time.

- The editing team looked really cool. I do hope we get along. Miss Tabby has been really nice and accommodating. There're also at least two people in the team from UP, and at least one fantasy-oriented and anime-enthusiast guy.

- I realize that practically everything I have to do there is something that I did when I was in charge of the KTK (except layouting).

- Firefox was having fits on me lately. I'm connected to the Wi-Fi, but it takes an extremely long time to detect the internet and it often displays that Page Cannot Be Found shit. I looked it up, and it turns out it has something to do with the IPv6 detection in the browser. All I had to do was go to "about:config" (by typing it on the address bar) and looking for "network.dns.disableIPv6" to change it's setting to True. It should fix the problem and eliminate the delays, if anybody else is experiencing this.

- In the process, I learned about IPv4 and IPv6. It's really amazing how we take the Internet for granted, and we don't even know all this is happening in the background. (Well, I didn't know it. So sue me.)

- Bought (well, my brother did) First Cut at Fully Booked. It's a Vertigo TPB with seven (7!) first issues in it: DMZ, Army @ Lover, Scalped, The Exterminators, Jack of Fables, Crossing Midnight, and Loveless. It also has a preview of Air. Aside from Jack of Fables, I haven't read any of the titles. DMZ was great, Army @ Love was fascinating, Scalped seemed another interesting Brian Vaughan brainchild, Crossing Midnight got me hooked, and Loveless was, uh, cool. I'm definitely dl-ing these titles. And buying some TPBs.

- Did I mention the above TPB is priced at a mere 210 pesos? That's like, 30 bucks per title. Definitely worth it, assuming you can handle massive cliffhanger-y feelings.

- Also finally got around to reading Watchmen. Turns out, the tons of text doesn't seem too much of a hassle. Maybe it's because there're no readings and homework taking up so much of my time. I'm at chapter VIII now.

- Must I get NBI clearance and SSS whatevers now? D:

- Transport strike tomorrow. I hope I can still get to UP without much hassle.

- Wasabi Toys sale ends now without me getting anything :( I'm hoping they go all out in the next toycon. Wait for me, Master Grade Crossbone Full Cloth!
