Taking Life by the Horns
So there, I finally stopped putting off answering those mandatory online application 2000-character essays.
I managed to answer one tonight, and thus have finally formally applied for a job (since the first one I sent my resume to still hasn't called me). It's some scary shit. There are 32 applications already, and 17 of them are already shortlisted. I don't know how accurate JobStreet is, but it says there that all 32 applications have 'lower' education than mine (IDK how they qualify that). I thought my app was part of the 32, so does 'lower' really mean 'same'? (ETA: It has now updated to 31 same and 1 higher. D:)
I do hope I get the gig. I mean, it's the nearest out of my top 3; it's right in San Juan, and is around 30 minutes away, probably. They seem to have a nice atmosphere at the workplace (yeah, I researched galleries to see how their office looked like). The job qualifications don't include shit such as 'amiable and nice looking'.
The soonest they'll probably see the application is Monday... I do hope things go well. *Crosses fingers*
