When I first heard that Palin was going to cooperate with the probe, my first reaction was "Sure, until they can spin it, then pretend to be the aggrieved party instead.". Gee... Now Palin isn't co-operating... Who are they blaming.. Obama supporters... Gee... I'm shocked... NOT!
Although I do find her request to have this investigated by the state Personnel Board rather amusing. Lets have people the governor appointed investigate the governor.. What? The legislative branch can see this bullshit a mile away? OMG! Spin it quick! We've got to look like we're being harassed, like we are the victims!
Now I'm not saying if she's guilty or innocent.. there's a LOT of circumstantial evidence pointing at her.... but the actual verdict really isn't the issue in my mind.... What this whole Palin experience has reinforced in my mind is that:
1) She's a politician first, and not of enough caliber to be in the White House. If she's so willing and quick to turn her promise to work with a probe around, how quick will she be to turn on any of her more serious promises? I mean, they claim to have proof she's innocent, and that they have provided this proof to the personnel board. I mean, if you can't stand up to a promise to co-operate when you supposedly say you have all the proof you need and are in the right, how fast will you turn when your questionable? Or your not 100% sure?
2) The McCain/Pain ticket will be another 4 more years of failed policies. Just look at how the McCain camp is totally behind her on her complete 180 on her promise? Look how they back the idea that the personnel board should investigate this, how they back her that Obama supporters are out to get her. And to play that sad gender card about the lipstick.. I mean.. PLEASE... how dillusional can you be? It even sounded like something moronic that Bush would say.
This has got to be one of the saddest presidental tickets I've seen in my life. And I was around for the ticket that couldn't spell Tomato!!
