so i finally caved in and bought the new morrissey album. he's done it again. his honesty and eloquence and willingness to just be in the face of repression and ridicule have always amazed me. listening to it has inspired me to dig up his older albums, some with the smiths, some by himself. i was reading lyrics to cae last night over the phone. i want people to understand the beauty behind what he does. i can't even begin to describe how helpful his voice was to me at a time when i was still in a cage. sometimes, even now, i'm inspired by his honesty. i think that it gave me just the kick i needed.
