Bored, and sitting at home. David and Brett went off for some tennis with one of Brett's friends, John. Pooja's asleep after her plot to do something failed, and Sonny's in the middle of some kind of catharthic nip tuck marathon. Whatev...
I'm talking to Mike off and on, he's in the middle of some work, so I'm trying to stay off his back. Hopefully I'm not being completely annoying. God, I sound like a girl with a crush. Whatev... We're talking about some research topics. We share some common ground, and we both sound like we go on the same type of research quests... All in all, his seem to be a little more low-level (not in importance, but closer to the technology, rather than to society), but are none the less interesting. I don't like having that kind of conversation on AIM, because it's hard to judge how interested the audience really is... We'll have to try it in person.
Sonny's off to street scene tomorrow -- the bastard. I've yet to be paid as the checks havn't yet arrived from interscop, so my hopes of coming up with the $100 odd dollars necessary to make the trip down is pretty slim. Hopefully that will happen soon, so I can start living life again.
Talked to tim about the workstation, and it looks like a laptop is probably a better solution. We're attempting to be as mobile as possible, so we've got a dell m20 on order. Sweet sweet 2.0 ghz pentium m power. mmm mmm mmm mmm good. Too bad that probalby won't ship until the second week of august. I guess I'm stuck without audio until then.
