Scott had a lot of work ahead of him. Being the team leader wasn't an easy task and gave him little time for relaxation. He sat at a computer counsil and was typing on the main computer. It was huge. It had so many screens on it and one large screen, that the blue haze that shown down on the person typing almost seemed like a blue sky at times

" people tend ta not know dat I am in da room before it is too late " said Gambit with a laugh. " Tell me something cyclops why you spend all your time in front of dis ol screen when you got a girl like Jean waiting for you?"

Scott chuckled, "Jean and I have an understanding. She is also quite the leader as well. But this needs to be done nonetheless." He said with a slight sigh.

" what you looking for den?" Gambit ran his fingers across the keys longing to press them all, sometimes he was just a big kid

" Maybe ah can help "

He gave him a look, "Perhaps you can. I'm trying to input all this data. Think you could help?" He said and motioned to the keyboard next to him.

" sounds fun " said gambit as he picked up a data card and slid it into the console. He sat down with a sigh and he fingers began to fly over the key board as he entered in the data.

" So, ahm an xman all of a sudden. Dat suprised even me "

Scott chuckled, "I gave you the recommendation." Scott said without looking at him.

" Why you do something like dat? Last time we met ah was robbing a museum "

Gambits hands continued to fly over the keys as he ploughed through the workload

Scott turned and looked at him, "Because you willingly put yourself in harms way to save another. You displayed the charicteristics of a true X-man Remey. I'm proud to have you with us." He said and turned back to his work. He wasn't as fast as Remey, but he could hold his own at typing.

Though he would die rather than admit it Gambit felt proud to hear this.

" YOu may regret your decision in time mon ami, ah aint neva worked as part of a team before "

"I know. And we'll be remedying that, don't you worry." He said smiling.

" Good luck with dat " chuckled Gambit as he finished inputting his data. He lay back in his chair and fiddles absent mindedly with his x logo on his uniform.

" Kitty tells me you aint letting her in da team "

Scott's smile fadded slightly, "Kitty is on the team. She has it wrong."

" Apparently she on some back up team, Gambit don' know full well how tings is done around here. All ah know is dat she pretty worked up about it, what ah do know however is dat dere nothing more dangerous dan an angry woman "

Scott grinned. He could agree with that, "Perhaps." He stood up and made his way to another counsil, "But the decision wasn't just mine."

" like a said mon ami Ah don know how you roll so it aint none of gambits business "

He got back to his feet and strectched,

" What about de others? what do they do? ah mean Nightcrawler, Sunspot, Inez, boom boom, "

Gambit strained to remember the others..
" Havok, dazzler.. screw ah cant remember dere names, what do those guys do?"

Scott chuckled, "Most of those that you've listed aren't even on the team. Nightcrawler, Inez, and Boom Boom are, but unless the Professor just added them, the rest aren't. They are on the second team yes, the same one that Kitty is on. They train in and out and work hard, which they should. If they'd like to be considered an immediate X-man, they need to work very hard or be very very good."
