I will say that this year's experience did not have the same intense "impact" that last year's walk had on me, but I think that's only natural. It was the second time around, and I knew what to expect, and what was coming. That's not to say it wasn't emotionally moving, or wonderful. This is an awesome post! I love the pictures, especially of the Pink Angels and you with Elvis. LOL. The "why we walk" one is very touching. I'm so proud of you, G. &hearts

Wow. That was amazing. Congratulations for finishing...and for the perspective. It's hard, it's awful, but at the end of three days, you've accomplished something and you get to keep on living. We all need a reminder of that sometimes. And *snerk* Save Second Base! Also, love the pink camo.

I feel like I am the queen of needing perspective sometimes. I think if I could spend more of my time helping others I'd be a lot happier. Though I guess I need to realize that taking care of my family counts in that.

WTG! I love Team Bagdad! How cook that the guy got to come "home" to honor his sister. Very moving. And the pink camo outfit...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Proof that "real men" CAN wear pink!

Thanks for the hugs, she is MUCH better neuro wise. Almost baseline. The back pain remains, but we are being told that surgery is not an option yet. They are going to have PT come to her house. They are also trying to get Epogen for her. Right now she is getting Iron IV. She just wants to come home.
