~ Back in Pompey ~

Hey, I'm back in Pompey now after spending a week at home.
Not in the greatest of moods since Belinda just came home and the first thing she said to me was "you look shorter....and fatter....well not fatter, more meaty" and then Alecia joined in and said "yeah you have put on weight on your hips". Thanks both of you. I think it's pretty fucking rude and insensitive to say that to someone, especially when it's the first thing you say to them after they've been away for a week. I spend the whole time telling them how lovely they look, telling them they're beautiful, telling Alecia she's being silly when she thinks she looks fat or ugly, telling her she has a lovely figure ETC ETC ETC. Why should I bother if they're just going to insult me without even caring whether it hurts my feelings or not. And I know I haven't put on weight because I weighed myself and my weight is still the same, but I'm still crying and I don't care if its pathetic that I care what other people think, everyone cares what everyone else thinks. They're so fucking rude about how everyone else looks and then they expect people to be nice in return, and when I was like "thanks..." Belinda just said "not in a bad way" and then carried on as normal. Great. So I'm just supposed to accept whatever they say to me am I. They comment on everything I eat and watch me when I eat and its enough to make anyone fucking uncomfortable and paranoid. And Alecia said "oh no, she won't eat anything now" after their lovely comments. Yes I fucking will eat, I'll eat whatever the fuck I want to eat. Why should I have to feel bad about eating when I'm hungry just because I have the 2 most judgemental housemates on the planet. Well they can fuck off. UGH.

Anyway, that's enough time devoted to that.
I had a nice week at home with my family and I saw Anna, Johnny, Jenny and Clare which was lovely. Me and Jen went to see some random film by the writer of Jumanji called 'Zathura' which is basically just the same idea (the board game becomes reality) except it's a space themed board game and their house flies into space and they have to defeat random space alien things called Zorgons.......can't say it's the best film I've ever seen but it was alright I suppose!! I stayed at Clare's in Jenny's room which is really pretty, anddd I love them both lots. Also stayed at Anna's house and we managed to rent the two crappest films ever made, namely 'Elizabethtown' and 'Napoleon Dynamite'. As a fan of soppy romantic comedies I figured 'Elizabethtown' would be my cup of tea, but it was SO NOT. The storyline was ridiculous and random and unconvincing and it was just really really bad. We hoped 'Napoleon Dynamite' would be funny but it wasn't, except for one bit where he said "do you ever take your bike over any sweet jumps" and then tried to jump over a piece of wood and fell off. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, NOT SO GOOD. We both fell asleep though...so I suppose it might have got better towards the end...who knows. Anna came to mine the next day and we watched 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' which was wonderful and cancelled out the bad films, and I straightened her hair and it looked really pretty.
I think the plan is for people to return home in a fortnight but I'm not too sure, it'll be nice to see people as always. I think my family might be visiting me in Pompey this week (Thursday maybe?) when I have an afternoon off which should be good. They're in love with Gunwharf Quays shopping centre and wanna get stuff for their birthday. Alice, James and Thomas are gonna be 16 in a matter of days!! Don't they grow up fast!
Anyway I'd better finish unpacking and stuff, sort myself out ready for the new semester which starts tomorrow. I don't have any days off but my lectures are spread out so I only have to be at uni for a couple of hours a day, which is not too bad. Lots of new books to read and I'm determined to read them all this time as I struggled to do my essays last semester, at the moment I'm reading 'Wide Sargasso Sea' which we studied for GCSE but I don't really remember it that well. It's good but strange and a bit hard to follow sometimes, but I'm about halfway through so not long to go now.

I'll be back sometime soon I suppose.
Adios xXx.
