I was never interested in zombies, but I liked the idea of a zombie TV series as it had never been done before. I really liked the pilot and while the second episode wasn't as good as the first one, I'm looking forward to the remaining ones. Only today I read that the first season only has eight episodes. :|

The first season only has six episodes, which is even less. :o

I don't know, I'm a bit less enthusiastic about it now and I'm not sure of the longterm potential of the show, but I enjoy it and I'll keep watching. The first two episodes were great, but the characters haven't remotely popped yet.
