I have spoken on this matter with some of you.
I require people with linguistic skills - anyone who has mastery of three or more languages that are prevalent to the people of this place. If at any point the network fails, I would rather rely on word of mouth. Those that can best relay that word are indispensable. I should like to know which languages you speak, your fluency, and your willingness to assist should such a thing become necessary.
Those with military and leadership experience, or those who are not averse to setting themselves in harm's way for the protection of those less capable, I ask you to convene in the gymnasium three hours from the timestamp of this post. To this end, I wish to build a threat response team, capable of being deployed to act against incursions such as this ship has faced in the past. If you think yourself incapable of following precepts, or would prefer working alone to functioning within a unit, you are welcome to attend but I will not guarantee a use for you.
If you have useful applicable skills - cooking or medical experience, as well as expertise with computers, engineering or like technology, you may find your skill set requested. Comment here if you are willing to assist at some point in the future. Do not limit yourself to what I suggest - if you are a fair hand at anything, you've potential enough.
In the event of danger, the rooms have so far been a safe haven. Is there anyone able to volunteer their room as a central assembly in times of hardship? I would mean this to be open to any who wish protection. Someone on one of the mid-decks would be preferable, nearer to one of the restaurants than not.
To those of you that consent, I will keep a roster of your names and call on you as necessary.
