POWERSPACE CONTINUED:
After I got my merch, we moved onto taking pictures. I got a picture with Alec, Tom, and Max before my bad luck with cameras caught up with me. In other words, the camera f-ing broke. I didn't drop it, didn't hit it against anything, yet it still obtained a lens error. LAME. >:(
Ace Enders was still playing and we didn't feel upto rejoining the crowd in preparation for CIWWAF just yet, so we hung around with Arshad, Kyle, Jackie, and Jake for a while. They were all pretty cool but Jake was really quiet. o.o
Then, Katie and I saw Spencer from Danger Radio chilling with Kevin Kane so we went to say hi and got our ticket signed by Spencer. This was actually when Kevin signed my stuff so yeah... he actually tried to imitate Tom's signature so later I had to put a post-it note pointing to the actual one. :P
After that CIWWAF was starting to get ready so we went back into the crowd. I haven't listened to their new album so I only sang along with their older songs. Near the middle of their set, these guys behind us started this mosh pit (that failed miserably, btw) and we turned around and saw that it was Jake Broido and two other seniors at our high school.
Fancy seeing them at a Cute show.
So basically I just turned back around for the Cute show and when I went to see if the wannabe mosh pit was still in tact (which it was), I see Tom Schleiter behind me. I say hi, he says hi back, and all that jazz. Perfect timing too, because that's when the wannabe mosh pit decided to branch right into me and shove me forward. That wasn't embarrassing at all.
& During "There's A Class For This", Alec Cyganowski came onstage and sang during the bridge. It was beautiful. Of course, Shaant was thrown into the crowd and was being molested, but that made me smile.
After the show, CIWWAF was supposed to be doing a Meet&Greet, but Shaant canceled it because he was feeling a tad bit "under the weather." I find that funny because I saw him running out of the venue with a towel over his head. My fears of him being a mandiva were confirmed.
Since the meet&greet was canceled, we hung with whoever we could find (basically.) We saw Andy and Nico from Danger Radio and got them to sign my ticket. I talked to Nico for a while when Katie and Jesy were doing whatever they were doing... I don't even remember what they were doing O.o
Anyway, then I migrated back over to Powerspace. We had to get going so it was a bittersweet farewell of sorts on my side so I got my hugs and I had Powerspace sign my iPod.
We went outside and saw Andrew De Torres from Danger:Radio and The Scene Aesthetic outside so I had him talk to my friend Sonica over the phone, because she's in love with TSA. Yeah, he made it good. And then I saw my favorite Danger:Radio kid ever, Marvin Kunkel. He's soooo cool. love that kid. seriously. they both signed my ticket and the last hug I got was from that kool kat.
& then we left. D:
The End.
So, us SoCal folk felt a 5.4 earthquake yesterday. I was at summer school when it happened and my modern world history teacher was completely freaking out. So much so that he let us leave early and I walked over to my uncle's house to see my 1-yr old cousin who already has a broken leg :/
I don't know how it happened, but it did.
Now Jesy and I are off to the OC Fair to see Paramore w/ Jack's Mannequin. How amazing is that going to be?
