Tomorrow
Another day of heartless toil
Bland and droll without purpose
Founded by that ever pestering insect of education
Not again I scream to an unsound world
As I keep one eye on the Teflon devil of time
It laughs and looks complacently back
My mutinous mind will have no more of this starvation and slavery
Such complexity hatches from this mysterious creature
This modern sieve of thought and emotion
Ever hungry and never complete
I long for the simplicity of my human self
My mortal link to this world
Trained for pleasure out of pain
Ration and real
Whole and happy
Tomorrow I say
The sun will shine brighter and more pleasant
Tomorrow I say will bring a better day
Tomorrow I say everyday
