CHARACTER NAME | Kururugi Suzaku
CHARACTER SERIES | Code Geass; Lelouch of the Rebellion
CANON POINT | Post Zero Requiem (end series)
DESIRED CLASS & REASONING | Adept Rogue; Steam Gunner-Blade Brandier
Suzaku himself has been seen using a sword, a gun and his trademark hand-to-hand fighting abilities. Since physical abilities are kept, I figured all he needed was the weapons. The idea lovingly lifted off of Suzaku's Knightmare Frame, Lancelot, which has 2 swords and a gun attached to it.
BACKGROUND |
HerePERSONALITY | At the very core of Suzaku's being, he's doing all of this in order to protect those that he cares about and to change the world into a kinder gentler place. Sadly, all his attempts at doing that has failed horribly because he used to truly believe that the means mattered more than the end. Taking up the title of an Honorary Britannian and enlisting in the Britannian Army had alienated him from the Japanese, so he was never accepted anywhere by anyone. After a few years, he just got used to being hated by everyone else. It helped ease his own troubled heart, and since he already hated himself, it was almost a sort of relief.
Maybe he was just a little bit masochistic. Just a little.
After Euphie's death and the revelation that Lelouch had been Zero the whole time, Suzaku lost himself to anger and resentment. He sold out his first and best friend to the Emperor so that he could eventually achieve the opportunity to put Japan under his control and out of direct Britannian rule. Where he used to be very friendly and just a little bit self-sacrificing, his personality takes a nosedive in the year between the two seasons. While he still can't kill indiscriminately, Suzaku's friendly demeanor has been reduced to a cold, impassive state. He found friends in Gino and Anya, but his grief and anger prevented him from welcoming them into his life. What was left of it anyway.
As the war took one violent turn after another, Suzaku eventually came to the resolution to give up the 'weak' part of him. After firing the warhead FLEIJA at the Tokyo Settlement and effectively killing millions of civilians and the play by Schneizel to make it appear as if he had betrayed Lelouch, he gave up the kind part of himself. Another childish and impulsive course of actions, but it was that instinctual nature of Suzaku's that had thrown him into this psychological mess in the first place. The final turn of events - Lelouch and Suzaku's arrival in the World of C and the final realization of what it is the two of them must do - has lead Suzaku to his final stage.
Kururugi Suzaku considers himself to be a dead man. And, according to his gravestone, he is.
