Well, you knew this was coming.
Gordon Chan directing, Hong Kong crew, so the fighting will be watchable, but basically the only thing to do with this movie is steal a bootleg DVD and skip all of the dialogue, because they've totally ruined yet another fighting game by making it into a movie.
And for some goddamned reason they made KYO KUSANAGI into a WHITE GUY (Sean Faris). Granted, none of the characters in this movie are actually the same ethnicity as they are in the game except for Mature (the guy playing Iori Yagami is chinese), but come ON!!!
Prince of Persia, The Last Airbender, now this. Granted it's going to be a crap movie anyway, but when will they realize that with movies based on video games (or cartoons), it's the NAME that sells the movie, not the actors?! And if they really just HAD to have a white protagonist, why didn't they just use Terry Bogard?
