Yeah. I think the Pokedex can tell you if it's a male or female.

Yes, there are few of them that are girls...But, you can't tell the difference from looking...

How does the... pokedex thing know the difference then?

I'm not exactly sure. I think it's programed to be able to tell the difference between male and female.
