Exhaust Repair Sting
So I finally took the car to get the exhaust looked at. Kwik-Fit. Yes, I know. So anyway, they get it up on the ramp to look and see what parts they need, bearing in mind I've already told them it only needs the back box replacing due to the gaping hole in it.
Now apparently because the clanp that holds the back box onto the pipe and box in front of it is corroded, I now need to have the back half of the exhaust system replaced, for double the original £80 cost. Originally it was £180, but they're ever so generously knocking off £20 from that, to leave me with a bill for £160. That's bloody annoying. Also I've got to take the car back tomorrow morning because they didn't have the spares available today.
It had better sound like a brand new car when I get it back or I'll be far less than chuffed.
