... by who? now thats a different story.
Straight from one problem to the next it would seem. And by problem, I mean women. And, really, this wasn't my idea. I certainly haven't ever been that lucky before, why would I have any reason to suspect this would have been the case.
Best part; I don't need to avoid the situation. Ha, she seems to be doing that for me! So, you ask, Darryl, ya moron, wheres the problem?
There isn't one. I don't understand the situation, but that's okay, the scenery is good.
Think of it along the lines of standing in line for the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. First time on it was a four hour wait. But for two hours of that you already felt like you were on the ride because standing in line for the stinkin thing is so entertaining. I wouldn't describe this little adventure I am on now as entertaining, or an adventure really, (eventhough i just did) but as I said before, it's along those lines.
In any case... I would best describe yesterday as two steps of encouragement followed by 2 steps of dissapointment. But somehow, I still came out ahead.
Can't say I can recall having recently been so damn hopeful. Maybe my muse is coming back to me.
"How do you write women so well?"
"I think of a man; then I take away reason, and accountability."
-Jack Nicholson, As Good as it Gets.
