so we where supposed to play this show on wed, and we HAD to cancel. but ive already heard about stupid people in shitty going nowhere bands saying "they canceled because they are being pussys cuz they arent getting payed what they want"

we have yet to be payed what we "want". if the band got payed what we wanted, we would be touring in a bus and i sure as shit wouldnt be working a shitty job and living with my mom.
this past thursday a member quit, so we had to cancel a show. get your fucking facts straight, and dont run your goddamn mouth about shit you know nothing about. just because those 2 mongaloids told you something, doesnt mean its true.
while im bitching, a friend of mine recently tried something a little bit different. he had a night set up once a week dj-ing, and every week had a different guest dj. the guests were mostly band members, and it could have been cool cuz every week would have been a little bit different, cuz you know different people=different tastes in music. so i guess after 3 weeks of lame turnouts, the people that run the club just didnt show up! no call, no email, they just took the easy way out(this also happened at the prong show a while back). i guess if they wanna be spineless and unproffessional, cool, but dont get all mad and ask me "why doesnt anyone come out to shows anymore?", or "why is the scene here so dead?"
a) its called promotion, you should try it sometime, and i dont mean the day before
and
b) austin is only an hour away and people dont have to deal with retards that go to shows here!
