He was approached by 20th Century Fox in the late 90's to audition for the part of Wolverine in the film adaptation of X-Men. He reluctantly turned down their offer due to scheduling conflicts. Standing about 5'5", Danzig is actually a closer physical match to the character Wolverine, who is 5'3", than the 6'3" Hugh Jackman.
