Damn, how did we find the time to do everything we did this weekend? Four movies, six hours at or near a Stanford football game, bookclub, and three hours in the car == crazy mad sitting time. No wonder I was so tired/antsy on Sunday.
It's a beautifully clear and mild day. I can see Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge from my office, and the temperature outside is perfect.
Cheese of the week: L'Explorateur, a pungent, soft, raw cow's milk triple cream. Like St. Andre, this cheese has the sour flavor common to many raw French cheeses and is best eaten on its own or with wine. Unlike St. Andre, it is easily spreadable and very flavorful, with a distinctive mushroomy finish.
