It's Saturday.
The first Saturday in years that I was up early enough to watch Saturday morning cartoons.
Aside from the summer when my sleep was completely backwards, that is. But at that time everyday was a blur and I never realized it was Saturday. Or morning for that matter. It was more like one continuous Tuesday afternoon..
But regardless! I was happy to have finally woken up on my own accord, fully rested on a Saturday morning. But I soon realized that the cartoons now aren't as good as what they used to be when I was younger. Lets take "Winx club" for example. What the fuck is that horse shit? I'd rather bludgeon myself over the head with a golf club than ever lay eyes on that show again. It had fairys, pixies and princesses in it. I can just imagine seeing Ahmed watch this shit.
But things looked up when I was promised Tranformers by WB39. But they never delivered. I was outraged! I loved that show as a kid and I'm pretty sure if I had seen it today, I would have found that they butchered it with shitty voice overs and an even shittier plot. Fuck you, WB. FUCK YOU!! >:(
Then on FOX, they showed G.I Joe! I was happy. Until I found out that G.I Joe was now..an ANIME?? Isn't G.I Joe the "Real American Fucking Hero"? Since when was it an anime? Not only that, it's called "Sigma 6". Does that sound like a fucking sorority group to anyone else?
And Pokemon is still up and fucking running? Aren't they running out of episode plots for this shit? I remember being in 8th grade and watching it and by 10th grade none of the stories for each episode changed much. It's always something like Ash overcomes all problems with being nice to some random pokemon and together they can overcome any obstacle or some shit.
I think Ninja Turtles was the only thing I remotely enjoyed this morning. And even that kind of sucked. But if my memory serves me well, they've always been saying some dumb shit that's more annoying than funny.
Oh, and fuck all of you nigga's who've seen Advent Children when I haven't. >:(
