I'm sorry for the OT post, but as a Spaniard, I have to do my part to boost the signal and make the world aware of this.

man. i get that this is really important, and i'm all for signal boosting, but i don't think it's. appropriate? on an RP journal. On your own journal, absolutely, but. I. i feel really bad posting this when it's clearly so important, but it's been making me feel sort of uncomfortable all day :(

No, don't feel bad. If it wasn't obvious by my wording and the replies in this post, I weighed the options before posting this. Truth is, I've been tweeting about this for a couple days, but my twitter is locked and I felt like I wasn't reaching all the people I could reach.

I definitely don't want for this RP journal to become a political blog, because it's not the place, but I also couldn't ignore the fact that my compatriots have been doing all they can for people, including those outside of Spain, to become aware of the movement.

So I absolutely get the discomfort, and I know I'm infringing on people's pretendy fun time games by doing this. All I can say is that this post will be gone before you know it and I apologize.

Also, thanks for waiting for other comments before posting this, because if it had been the first comment, I'd have cried into my cereal ALL DAY. /the most delicate flower

Could you put it behind a cut maybe? Because it being a weekday means that the network is really slow, and i've been seeing it since on the network i got up this morning and it's really making me uncomfortable

Is it a good compromise if I make the picture smaller and lj-cut the links to the articles?

Or I could change the picture to one of the protests (and cut the rest)? I didn't do that initially because I thought this one had less of a political slant and plays into the Monty Python joke.

I would really prefer the whole thing LJ cutted, because I know I'm not the only one this is making uncomfortable. It's really inappropriate for an RP journal, full stop.

Piping up to be helpful. A full LJ cut with possibly the first line of your post as the link text would get the message across along with keeping it pretty out of view of main network view? Either that or "AND NOW FOR SOMETING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RP BUT IF INTERESTED IN RL HAPPENINGS, PLEASE CLICK. IF NOT, FEEL FREE TO IGNORE" because at least there's the option to disregard it being in the network in the first place.
