I ordered it from Borders, it's gonna be here in 3 weeks or so.
It only cost 15 bucks too, I thought (and Dad who took me in) it was gonna cost WAY more. The girl who served me was really friendly and helpful.
I had to pay a $15 deposit, but that means when I go in to pick it up I don't have to pay anything cos I've already paid for the whole thing.
Ahhhhhh I'm so excited!! I'll have it to own.
Dad said if all their books are that cheap to order, I may as well buy the other books I don't have (which are Ill Wind, Heat Stroke, Chill Factor & Thin Air, I already have Windfall & Firestorm).
I might order another when I go and pick up Gale Force.
I can't wait to read it!
In other news, I stayed up till 4am last night watching the Olympics opening ceremony. I just wanted to see the New Zealand and Great Britain teams come into the stadium - the UK were somewhere in the middle but NZ were country #189 out of 204 so I had to wait till like 3:30am or something. The annoying thing was that TV1 kept going to ad breaks during the live broadcast so we missed about 20 or 30 countries cos they came out while they were at ads. It was so irritating, where the hell is the logic in showing ads during a LIVE broadcast? That would be like showing ads during a PPV or something. They even cut to ads when a country was being introduced x_x I finally went to sleep after the Chinese team came out and the guy from the Olympic committee began blabbing in Chinese cos I was tired and I'd been watching it for four hours xD
