The Ocean

 So i took a walk at sunset in sunset today and some thoughts crossed my head

The water runs up to greet me like a long lost friend
The wind whips my coat like my heart beat
the soft sand cushions my steps
The darkest of the dark are in the sadows of the water
When the wind moves faster so does my heart
The lightest of the light are on the foam my friend leaves at my feet
The colors that touch the sea remind me that i am alone
