new years and all that jazz
I guess my New Year's Resolution would be to move out with Sammy. And believe it or not, we're actually actively working towards it. Things that will help this along include but are not limited to: enrollment in a CUNY 2 year college (Hostos for the LPN program, please), get a job (night, part-time, preferably at a hospital), find an apartment that is affordable (somewhat underway), selling my car (thank you, Mom!), saving any and all money.
I haven't been too enthusiastic about school in the past. For once, I'm really excited. I want to get this under way, I want to do well, I want this. For once. Maybe I'll actually do well now that I want it.
I'm feeling a bit better. Not so sick anymore. It's been an emotional roller coaster this past weekend. That didn't help on the "getting better" front. Sunday night Sammy and I stayed over at Michelle's apartment and I ended up throwing up over there. That sucked.
So. That's my update. I need to go call CUNY now and see if I can't get a fax number out of them so I can fax my high school transcript. I can't believe I actually forgot that... No wonder I haven't heard anything back.
